1. INTRODUCTION

This Subscription & Refund Policy (“Policy”) explains the terms governing subscriptions, subscription payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds for Damascus Projects & Services (“Damascus Projects,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Damascus Projects operates a subscription-based digital platform designed to facilitate introductions and connections between business owners, entrepreneurs, investors, and other eligible users.

By subscribing to Damascus Projects, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy, together with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and other applicable policies.

2. NATURE OF OUR SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE

A Damascus Projects subscription provides access to certain features and services made available through the platform during the applicable subscription period.

Depending on the subscription plan, these services may include access to:

  • Investor Hall;
  • business and investment profiles;
  • live video streaming and participation features;
  • business presentation and video prototype features;
  • communication and introduction features;
  • opportunities to discover and connect with other users;
  • selected platform resources and tools;
  • visa-financing application features where separately offered and where the subscriber satisfies the applicable requirements; and
  • other features that Damascus Projects may introduce from time to time.

The specific features available to a subscriber depend on the subscription plan purchased and the features available at the relevant time.

3. SUBSCRIPTION IS FOR PLATFORM ACCESS, NOT A GUARANTEED OUTCOME

A subscription gives you access to the applicable platform features. It does not guarantee:

  • that you will meet an investor;
  • that an investor will invest in your business;
  • that your business will receive funding;
  • that you will receive a business partnership;
  • that another user will accept your proposal;
  • that your business proposal will be viewed by a particular person;
  • that you will generate a particular amount of revenue;
  • that you will receive employment;
  • that you will obtain a visa, residence permit, admission, or travel authorization;
  • that a visa-financing application will be approved;
  • that a particular investor, business owner, institution, agency, or other third party will respond to you; or
  • that you will achieve any particular financial, business, investment, immigration, or personal result.

Damascus Projects provides a platform for introductions and connections. Decisions made by investors, business owners, agencies, institutions, and other users are independent of Damascus Projects unless expressly stated otherwise.

4. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS AND PRICING

Subscription plans, prices, durations, features, and eligibility requirements may vary.

Before completing a subscription, you will be shown the applicable:

  • subscription price;
  • subscription period;
  • available features;
  • applicable taxes or charges, where applicable;
  • renewal terms, if applicable; and
  • any material restrictions.

You are responsible for reviewing this information before completing your purchase.

Damascus Projects reserves the right to introduce new subscription plans, modify existing plans, or discontinue plans, subject to applicable law and any rights that have already accrued to subscribers.

5. PAYMENT

Subscriptions must be paid using the payment methods made available by Damascus Projects or its authorized payment providers.

You authorize the applicable payment provider to process the amount shown at checkout.

A subscription will generally become active after successful confirmation of payment.

If a payment fails, is reversed, disputed, charged back, or otherwise remains unpaid, Damascus Projects may suspend or terminate access to the applicable subscription features.

We do not intentionally store complete payment-card information where payment processing is handled by an authorized third-party payment provider. Payment information may be processed in accordance with the provider's own terms and privacy practices.

6. AUTOMATIC RENEWAL

Where a subscription is offered on an automatically renewing basis, the subscription will renew at the end of the applicable subscription period unless cancelled before renewal.

The renewal price will be the price applicable to the subscription at the time of renewal, unless otherwise stated.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes to renewal terms or pricing.

You are responsible for cancelling an automatically renewing subscription if you do not wish it to renew.

7. CANCELLATION

You may cancel your subscription in accordance with the cancellation options provided through the Damascus Projects platform or through the applicable payment provider.

Cancellation normally prevents the next renewal but does not necessarily result in an immediate refund of the current subscription period.

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated by Damascus Projects, cancelling a subscription does not automatically entitle you to a refund for unused time remaining in the current subscription period.

8. REFUND POLICY

Because Damascus Projects provides digital access to a platform and its features, subscription payments are generally non-refundable once access to the applicable subscription service has been provided, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where Damascus Projects determines that a refund is appropriate under this Policy.

However, we may consider refund requests in circumstances including:

8.1 Duplicate Payment

If you were charged more than once for the same subscription because of a verified technical or payment-processing error, we may refund the duplicate charge.

8.2 Unauthorized or Fraudulent Transaction

If you believe that a subscription payment was made without your authorization, you should contact us promptly.

We may investigate the transaction and, where appropriate, issue a refund.

8.3 Technical Failure

If a significant technical problem caused by Damascus Projects prevents you from accessing a substantial portion of the subscription service for a meaningful period, we may, at our discretion, provide:

  • an extension of the subscription;
  • a partial refund;
  • a full refund; or
  • another appropriate remedy.

8.4 Accidental Subscription

Where a user accidentally purchases a subscription and promptly contacts us before meaningfully using the subscription features, Damascus Projects may, at its discretion, consider a refund.

8.5 Payment Taken After Cancellation

If you can demonstrate that a renewal payment was taken after a valid cancellation had been successfully completed before the renewal date, we will investigate the transaction and, where appropriate, refund the affected payment.

8.6 Other Exceptional Circumstances

Damascus Projects may consider refunds in exceptional circumstances where fairness, technical circumstances, or applicable law justify doing so.

Approval of one refund does not create an obligation to approve future refund requests under similar circumstances.

9. WHAT IS NOT A REFUNDABLE REASON

Unless required by applicable law, the following circumstances generally do not qualify for a refund:

  • failure to find an investor;
  • failure to receive investment;
  • failure to obtain a business partner;
  • failure to receive responses from other users;
  • dissatisfaction with another user's proposal;
  • failure to obtain a visa;
  • failure to qualify for visa financing;
  • rejection of a visa-financing application;
  • failure to secure admission to a school or institution;
  • failure to secure employment;
  • failure to achieve a desired business result;
  • failure to use the subscription after purchasing it;
  • forgetting to cancel an automatically renewing subscription;
  • changing your mind after purchasing the subscription;
  • failure to read the subscription terms before payment; or
  • suspension or termination resulting from your violation of our Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, or other applicable policies.

10. VISA FINANCING PROGRAM

Where Damascus Projects or an affiliated entity offers a visa-financing program, that program is separate from the ordinary subscription service and is subject to its own eligibility requirements, terms, application procedures, and financing arrangements.

Payment for a Damascus Projects subscription does not constitute payment for a visa, immigration service, recruitment service, admission service, or guaranteed visa-financing approval.

Damascus Projects does not guarantee that any subscriber will receive visa financing.

Where applicable, financing may be subject to assessment by the relevant financing parties and additional terms.

A subscription fee is therefore not automatically refundable because a subscriber does not qualify for or receive visa financing.

Damascus Projects may provide additional information about visa financing through the platform or separate documentation.

11. FREE TRIALS AND PROMOTIONAL OFFERS

Damascus Projects may occasionally offer:

  • free trials;
  • discounted subscriptions;
  • promotional subscriptions;
  • referral promotions;
  • limited-time offers; or
  • other special pricing.

Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers may be subject to additional terms.

A free trial may automatically convert into a paid subscription if this is clearly disclosed when the trial is activated and the user does not cancel before the trial period ends.

Damascus Projects reserves the right to limit, modify, or discontinue promotional offers in accordance with applicable law.

12. REFUND REQUEST PROCEDURE

To request a refund, contact Damascus Projects through the official support channel provided on our website or within the application.

A refund request should include sufficient information for us to identify the relevant transaction, such as:

  • the account email address;
  • transaction or subscription reference;
  • date of payment;
  • subscription plan; and
  • a brief explanation of the reason for the request.

Do not send your full payment-card number, PIN, password, authentication code, or other sensitive financial credentials to Damascus Projects.

We may request reasonable information necessary to verify the transaction and process the request.

13. REFUND REVIEW

Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis where a discretionary refund is available.

We may consider:

  • the circumstances surrounding the payment;
  • whether the subscription was activated or used;
  • the time elapsed since payment;
  • whether the payment was duplicated;
  • whether a technical problem occurred;
  • whether the user cancelled before renewal;
  • whether applicable law provides a cancellation or refund right; and
  • any other relevant circumstances.

Where a refund is approved, it will generally be processed through the original payment method where reasonably possible.

The time required for the refund to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or other financial institution.

14. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES

We encourage subscribers to contact Damascus Projects first if they believe a payment was made incorrectly or if they have a billing dispute.

Nothing in this Policy limits any legal rights you may have to dispute an unauthorized transaction with your payment provider.

However, deliberately initiating a fraudulent or misleading chargeback may result in suspension or termination of the associated account, subject to applicable law.

15. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

Damascus Projects may suspend, restrict, or terminate a user's access to the platform where the user:

  • violates our Terms of Use;
  • violates our Community Guidelines;
  • engages in fraud, deception, impersonation, or abuse;
  • provides materially false information;
  • misuses the platform;
  • attempts to manipulate other users;
  • engages in harassment or threatening conduct;
  • uses the platform for unlawful purposes;
  • interferes with the operation or security of the platform; or
  • otherwise breaches applicable policies or agreements.

Where an account is suspended or terminated because of the user's misconduct or violation of our policies, the user will generally not be entitled to a refund for the unused portion of the subscription, except where required by applicable law.

16. CHANGES TO SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES

Damascus Projects may modify, improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue particular platform features from time to time.

This may occur because of:

  • technological developments;
  • security requirements;
  • changes in business operations;
  • legal or regulatory requirements;
  • third-party service changes;
  • maintenance;
  • improvements to the platform; or
  • other legitimate business reasons.

We will endeavor to maintain the essential nature of subscription services during an active subscription period.

Where a material change substantially reduces the service you have paid for, we may provide an appropriate remedy where required by applicable law.

17. NO GUARANTEE OF AVAILABILITY

Although we aim to maintain reliable access to Damascus Projects, we do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or internet connection.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of:

  • maintenance;
  • upgrades;
  • security incidents;
  • internet or telecommunications failures;
  • third-party service interruptions;
  • circumstances beyond our reasonable control; or
  • other technical or operational issues.

Temporary interruptions do not automatically create a right to a refund.

18. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Some payment, communication, hosting, identity-verification, or other services used by Damascus Projects may be provided by third parties.

Where a third party processes your payment, that provider may have its own terms, refund procedures, and dispute-resolution processes.

Damascus Projects is not responsible for delays caused solely by a bank, payment processor, app store, card issuer, or other third party.

19. APP STORE AND GOOGLE PLAY PURCHASES

If you purchase a Damascus Projects subscription through a third-party app store, including the Apple App Store or Google Play, additional billing and cancellation rules may apply.

The relevant app store may control payment processing, subscription management, and certain refund requests.

You should follow the applicable platform's procedures where the subscription was purchased through that platform.

20. CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in this Policy is intended to remove, restrict, or override any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under the laws applicable to you.

Where mandatory law gives you a cancellation, refund, replacement, or other statutory right, that right will continue to apply.

If any provision of this Policy conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the mandatory requirement will prevail to the extent of the conflict.

21. BUSINESS OWNERS AND INVESTORS

A subscription does not create an agency, partnership, employment, fiduciary, investment-advisory, or joint-venture relationship between Damascus Projects and a subscriber unless expressly agreed in a separate written agreement.

Subscribers remain responsible for evaluating the individuals, businesses, proposals, opportunities, and information they encounter through the platform.

Damascus Projects does not guarantee the accuracy, profitability, legitimacy, financial performance, or suitability of opportunities presented by other users.

22. NO INVESTMENT GUARANTEE

Damascus Projects is an introduction and matchmaking platform.

A subscription should not be interpreted as:

  • a promise that an investment will occur;
  • an offer of investment by Damascus Projects;
  • financial advice;
  • investment advice;
  • a guarantee of funding; or
  • a guarantee of any particular financial return.

Users should conduct their own appropriate due diligence and obtain independent professional advice where necessary before entering into any business or financial transaction.

23. REFUNDS FOLLOWING PLATFORM ABUSE OR FRAUD

Where Damascus Projects determines that a subscription was obtained through fraudulent activity, impersonation, manipulation, stolen payment credentials, false information, or other prohibited conduct, we may suspend the account and investigate the transaction.

Where appropriate, funds may be returned to the legitimate payment owner or handled in accordance with applicable law.

24. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Damascus Projects may update this Subscription & Refund Policy from time to time.

When material changes are made, we may provide notice through the platform, website, email, or another appropriate method.

The updated Policy will become effective on the date stated in the revised version.

Your continued use of the subscription service after the effective date of an updated Policy constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy to the extent permitted by law.
