Video Content Rules

1. Introduction

These Video Content Rules (“Rules”) govern the creation, uploading, sharing, broadcasting, streaming, and viewing of video content on Damascus Projects (“Damascus Projects,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Damascus Projects is a subscription-based platform designed to facilitate introductions and communication between business owners, entrepreneurs, investors, and other eligible users. Video is an important part of the platform because it allows users to present businesses, ideas, products, services, projects, and investment opportunities.

These Rules are intended to maintain a professional, trustworthy, lawful, and useful video environment.

By uploading, streaming, broadcasting, or otherwise submitting video content to Damascus Projects, you agree to comply with these Rules, our Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, Business Listing Rules, Privacy Policy, and all other applicable policies.

2. What These Rules Cover

These Rules apply to all video content made available through Damascus Projects, including:

  • Live streams;
  • Investor live streams;
  • Business owner presentations;
  • Video prototypes;
  • Business introduction videos;
  • Product demonstrations;
  • Project presentations;
  • Promotional videos;
  • Recorded presentations;
  • Videos uploaded to business profiles;
  • Videos shared through other platform features;
  • Video content transmitted through private or public video sessions; and
  • Any other video, audiovisual, or recorded content submitted to or distributed through the platform.

These Rules apply regardless of whether the content is public, private, restricted, live, recorded, or accessible only to selected users.

3. General Standard for Video Content

Video content on Damascus Projects should be:

  • Lawful;
  • Truthful and not materially misleading;
  • Relevant to the purpose of the platform;
  • Respectful and professional;
  • Safe for the intended audience;
  • Respectful of intellectual-property and privacy rights; and
  • Consistent with the purpose of facilitating legitimate business and professional introductions.

Users are responsible for everything they say, display, demonstrate, promote, or otherwise communicate through their videos.

4. Prohibited Video Content

Users must not upload, stream, broadcast, or distribute video content that:

4.1 Is Illegal

Content must not promote, facilitate, demonstrate, or encourage illegal activities or violations of applicable law.

This includes content that facilitates fraud, theft, trafficking, money laundering, scams, or other unlawful conduct.

4.2 Promotes Fraud or Deception

Users must not use video content to deliberately deceive other users.

Examples include:

  • False claims about ownership of a business;
  • Fabricated financial results;
  • Fake investment opportunities;
  • Fake contracts or certificates;
  • False claims about government approval;
  • Misrepresentation of products or services;
  • Impersonation of investors, businesses, officials, institutions, or other persons;
  • Deliberately manipulated information intended to obtain money or other benefits; or
  • Presenting another person's business, achievements, assets, or credentials as one's own.

4.3 Contains False or Misleading Investment Claims

Because Damascus Projects facilitates introductions between investors and business owners, users must take particular care when discussing financial matters.

Users must not use videos to make deceptive or materially misleading claims concerning:

  • Guaranteed investment returns;
  • Guaranteed profits;
  • Guaranteed funding;
  • Guaranteed investment approval;
  • Guaranteed business success;
  • Guaranteed repayment;
  • Guaranteed visas or immigration outcomes;
  • Risk-free investments;
  • Artificially inflated business valuations;
  • Fabricated investor interest; or
  • Any other financial outcome that cannot reasonably be guaranteed.

A user's presentation of a business or investment opportunity does not constitute an endorsement, verification, or guarantee by Damascus Projects.

4.4 Requests for Direct Payments or Circumvention

Users must not use videos to encourage other users to bypass Damascus Projects' rules or security systems where doing so is intended to facilitate fraud, unauthorized transactions, or other prohibited conduct.

Users should exercise caution before sending money or sensitive information to another user.

4.5 Hate, Harassment, or Threats

Video content must not:

  • Threaten another person;
  • Encourage violence against a person or group;
  • Harass or intimidate users;
  • Promote hateful conduct;
  • Target individuals with abusive or degrading content;
  • Encourage coordinated harassment; or
  • Reveal personal information for the purpose of harassment or intimidation.

Reasonable criticism of a business, proposal, presentation, or idea is permitted when expressed respectfully.

4.6 Sexual or Exploitative Content

Users must not upload or broadcast sexually explicit or exploitative content.

Content involving the sexual exploitation of minors is strictly prohibited and may be reported to relevant authorities where legally required.

4.7 Graphic or Shock Content

Videos containing gratuitous graphic violence, disturbing imagery, or content primarily intended to shock or traumatize viewers are prohibited.

Educational, documentary, news, or legitimate business-related content may be treated differently where appropriate, subject to applicable law and platform safety requirements.

4.8 Dangerous Activities

Users must not use videos to encourage or instruct others to participate in dangerous activities that could reasonably result in serious injury or harm.

4.9 Dangerous or Regulated Goods

Users must not use Damascus Projects videos to unlawfully promote, sell, distribute, or facilitate access to regulated, prohibited, or dangerous goods or services.

4.10 Illegal Financial Activities

Videos must not facilitate:

  • Money laundering;
  • Fraudulent investment schemes;
  • Ponzi or pyramid schemes where unlawful;
  • Unauthorized financial services;
  • Financial impersonation;
  • Fraudulent fundraising; or
  • Other unlawful financial activity.

4.11 Intellectual Property Violations

Users must not upload or broadcast content that infringes another person's intellectual-property rights.

This includes unauthorized use of:

  • Copyrighted videos;
  • Music;
  • Films;
  • Television programs;
  • Photographs;
  • Logos;
  • Brand materials;
  • Presentations;
  • Software;
  • Designs; or
  • Other protected works.

Users are responsible for obtaining any permission, licence, consent, or other legal authorization required to use third-party content.

5. Business and Investment Presentations

Damascus Projects encourages users to present legitimate businesses, products, ideas, and projects.

However, users must ensure that their presentations are accurate to the best of their knowledge.

Business owners should avoid:

  • Inventing revenue figures;
  • Fabricating customer numbers;
  • Misrepresenting ownership;
  • Hiding material information where disclosure is necessary to avoid misleading viewers;
  • Claiming that an investor has committed funds when no such commitment exists;
  • Using fake testimonials;
  • Displaying fake documents or certificates;
  • Presenting projections as guaranteed results; or
  • Making claims that cannot reasonably be supported.

Where financial projections are presented, users should clearly identify them as projections, estimates, assumptions, or forecasts where appropriate.

6. Investor Content

Users presenting themselves as investors must not falsely claim to represent a company, institution, investment fund, government agency, bank, or other organization.

Users should accurately describe their authority and capacity.

A user must not falsely claim that:

  • They have already approved funding;
  • They represent a particular investor or institution;
  • They have access to a particular fund;
  • They can guarantee financing;
  • They have authority they do not possess; or
  • Damascus Projects has endorsed their investment activity.

7. No Guarantee by Damascus Projects

The presence of a video, live stream, business presentation, investor presentation, or other content on Damascus Projects does not mean that Damascus Projects has verified or endorsed the claims contained in that content.

Unless Damascus Projects expressly states otherwise:

Damascus Projects does not guarantee the accuracy, profitability, legality, viability, performance, funding, or success of any business, project, investment opportunity, investor, entrepreneur, product, service, or proposal presented through user-generated video content.

Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any business, investment, financing, contractual, or other relationship with another user.

8. Live Streaming Rules

Users who use live-streaming features must comply with these Rules throughout the entire broadcast.

Users must not:

  • Broadcast prohibited content;
  • Deliberately mislead viewers;
  • Harass participants;
  • Attempt to manipulate or artificially inflate engagement;
  • Use multiple accounts to manipulate a stream;
  • Broadcast another person's private conversation without appropriate authorization;
  • Encourage viewers to engage in unlawful conduct;
  • Deliberately disrupt another user's stream;
  • Impersonate another person; or
  • Use a live stream to circumvent platform restrictions.

Damascus Projects may end a live stream where it reasonably believes that the stream violates these Rules or presents a significant risk to users or the platform.

9. Video Prototypes

Damascus Projects may provide video prototype or presentation features that allow business owners to explain their businesses or ideas when they are not available for a live presentation.

Video prototypes should:

  • Clearly explain the business, product, service, or idea;
  • Provide accurate information;
  • Avoid deliberately misleading claims;
  • Respect third-party intellectual-property rights;
  • Avoid unnecessary personal information;
  • Avoid fraudulent documentation; and
  • Be reasonably relevant to the business or project being presented.

A video prototype is a presentation tool and should not be treated as independent verification by Damascus Projects.

10. Privacy and Personal Information

Users must respect the privacy of others when creating video content.

Do not record, upload, or broadcast another person without appropriate authorization where such authorization is required by law.

Users should not expose unnecessary personal information, including:

  • Home addresses;
  • Private telephone numbers;
  • Passwords;
  • Financial-account information;
  • Identification numbers;
  • Private correspondence;
  • Private medical information; or
  • Other sensitive personal information.

Users are responsible for ensuring that individuals appearing in their videos have provided any consent required by applicable law.

11. Minors

Users must not use Damascus Projects to exploit, endanger, sexualize, or otherwise abuse minors.

Users should take particular care when minors appear in business, promotional, or other video content.

Damascus Projects may remove content involving minors where we believe removal is necessary for safety, privacy, legal compliance, or protection of the platform.

12. Impersonation and Misrepresentation

Users must not create videos that falsely represent themselves as another person or organization.

This includes falsely presenting oneself as:

  • An investor;
  • Business owner;
  • Government official;
  • Financial institution;
  • Company representative;
  • Immigration or recruitment representative;
  • Damascus Projects employee or representative; or
  • Any other person or organization.

Users must not create misleading videos designed to make viewers believe that Damascus Projects has approved, guaranteed, sponsored, or endorsed an opportunity when it has not.

13. Artificial Manipulation and Fake Engagement

Users must not manipulate the platform's video features through deceptive methods.

This may include:

  • Fake viewers;
  • Automated accounts;
  • Fake comments;
  • Artificial engagement;
  • Coordinated manipulation of rankings;
  • Misleading claims about the popularity of a stream; or
  • Other methods designed to artificially influence platform visibility or credibility.

14. Advertising and Promotional Content

Users may promote legitimate businesses, products, and services where permitted by Damascus Projects.

Promotional videos must not contain deceptive claims.

Where applicable, users should clearly distinguish:

  • Facts from opinions;
  • Projections from actual results;
  • Advertising from independent reviews;
  • Personal experience from verified results; and
  • Sponsorships or paid promotions from ordinary user content.

All advertising must comply with applicable laws and Damascus Projects' policies.

15. External Links, Contact Information and Off-Platform Communication

Users may share legitimate business contact information where permitted by the platform.

However, users must not use videos to direct users to websites, services, payment channels, or communication platforms for the purpose of:

  • Fraud;
  • Scamming;
  • Evading platform enforcement;
  • Circumventing applicable restrictions;
  • Collecting sensitive information unlawfully; or
  • Facilitating prohibited transactions.

Users should exercise independent judgment before continuing a relationship or transaction outside Damascus Projects.

16. AI-Generated and Manipulated Video

Users must not use artificial intelligence, deepfakes, voice cloning, video manipulation, or other technologies to deceive users.

AI-generated or significantly manipulated content may be subject to additional disclosure requirements where necessary to prevent users from being misled.

Users must not use synthetic media to falsely portray:

  • An investor;
  • Business owner;
  • Public figure;
  • Customer;
  • Government official;
  • Company representative; or
  • Any other person as having said or done something they did not say or do.

17. Recording and Reuse of Video Content

Users should assume that content shared through public or semi-public features may be viewed, recorded, or shared by other users.

Damascus Projects may retain, process, moderate, or use content as permitted by its Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and applicable law.

Users should not include information in a video that they would not want exposed to other viewers where the feature permits public or broad access.

18. Reporting Video Content

Users are encouraged to report video content that they reasonably believe violates these Rules.

Reports may concern:

  • Fraud;
  • Scams;
  • Impersonation;
  • Harassment;
  • Illegal activity;
  • Copyright infringement;
  • Dangerous conduct;
  • Privacy violations;
  • Misleading business claims;
  • Prohibited content; or
  • Other violations of Damascus Projects policies.

Reports should be made honestly and in good faith.

False, malicious, or deliberately abusive reporting may itself constitute a violation of these Rules.

19. Moderation and Enforcement

Damascus Projects may review video content where reasonably necessary to:

  • Enforce its policies;
  • Protect users;
  • Investigate complaints;
  • Prevent fraud and abuse;
  • Comply with applicable law;
  • Respond to legal requests;
  • Protect the security and integrity of the platform; or
  • Investigate suspected violations.

Where Damascus Projects determines that video content violates these Rules, we may take one or more actions, including:

  • Removing or restricting the content;
  • Ending a live stream;
  • Limiting access to video features;
  • Restricting an account;
  • Suspending an account;
  • Terminating an account;
  • Removing associated business listings;
  • Restricting communication features;
  • Preserving information where legally appropriate; or
  • Reporting suspected unlawful conduct to appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.

The action taken will depend on the nature, seriousness, frequency, and circumstances of the violation.

20. Serious Violations

Damascus Projects may take immediate action where content presents a significant risk to users, including content involving:

  • Fraud or scams;
  • Exploitation;
  • Threats of violence;
  • Child exploitation;
  • Serious illegal activity;
  • Identity theft;
  • Impersonation;
  • Major privacy violations;
  • Deliberate financial deception; or
  • Other serious misconduct.

Where appropriate, Damascus Projects may cooperate with lawful investigations or requests from competent authorities.

21. Appeals

Where Damascus Projects provides an appeal process, users may request a review of certain moderation decisions.

An appeal should explain why the user believes the decision was incorrect and provide any relevant information.

Damascus Projects may maintain restrictions while an appeal is being reviewed where necessary to protect users or the platform.

22. Responsibility for User Content

Users remain responsible for the video content they create, upload, stream, or distribute.

Damascus Projects does not assume responsibility for statements, representations, promises, opinions, projections, offers, or other claims made by users through video content.

Users should independently verify information before relying upon it.

23. No Due-Diligence Representation

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Damascus Projects does not represent that every person, business, investor, project, document, financial statement, claim, or opportunity presented through video has been independently verified.

Participation on the platform should not be interpreted as proof of credibility, financial capacity, business viability, or investment intent.

24. Changes to These Rules

Damascus Projects may update these Video Content Rules from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, applicable laws, technology, or safety requirements.

When material changes are made, Damascus Projects may provide notice through the platform or other appropriate means.

The updated Rules will become effective on the date specified in the updated version.

25. Contact and Complaints

Users who have concerns regarding video content, moderation, privacy, fraud, impersonation, or other violations may contact Damascus Projects through the official support channels provided on the platform.

Users should provide sufficient information to allow Damascus Projects to understand and investigate the complaint.

26. Relationship With Other Policies

These Video Content Rules form part of the broader Damascus Projects policy framework.

They should be read together with:

27. Final Principle

Damascus Projects is intended to make legitimate business introductions easier—not to replace due diligence, professional advice, legal processes, or independent judgment.

Present your business honestly. Present your opportunity responsibly. Respect other users. Do not use video to deceive, exploit, or harm others.

By using Damascus Projects' video features, you agree to follow these Video Content Rules.
